Rob Swift

Real Name: Robert Aguilar · Handle: @brolicarm

Musical Beat Juggling, Classical/Jazz Scratch Fusion & Brolic Arm School

Raised in Jackson Heights, Queens and mentored by his father and Dr. Butcher, Rob Swift joined the X-Men in 1991 and helped author the visual and sonic language of East Coast turntablism. Today he also leads Brolic Arm DJ School and teaches turntablism at The New School in NYC.

“Turntablism isn't about how fast your hands move — it's about the story the records tell when they talk to each other.”
