Jeff Mills (The Wizard)

Real Name: Jeff Mills · Handle: @jeff_mills_official

70-Records-Per-Hour 3-Deck Techno Turntablism & Live Roland TR-909 Solos

Before co-founding Detroit's militant Underground Resistance with 'Mad' Mike Banks and Axis Records, Jeff Mills electrified 1980s Detroit radio as 'The Wizard' on WJLB — applying hip-hop backspinning and scratching to industrial, electro, and Chicago house records before pioneering 3-deck + live TR-909 techno performance.

“The TR-909 and three turntables are a time machine aimed straight at tomorrow.”
